What started as a sidewalk sale in downtown Grandview and a couple of yard sales toward Cleburne in 1999 has turned into a 40+ mile long biannual event. Twice yearly on the 3rd full weekend (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) of April and September Antique Alley Texas presents miles of treasure hunting. Each year the show changes and evolves. Scattered along the current “treasure trail” in the towns of Grandview, Cleburne, Keene, Alvarado, Venus, Maypearl, downtown Waxahachie and along the way you will find folks offering their “goodies”. Most businesses in the participating downtown’s (particularly Grandview and Cleburne) offer “Antique Alley” sales with big discounts. Well worth stopping in to investigate.
Antique Alley Texas Fall 2024: A True “potluck” Treasure Hunt
This is not an antique show but rather a “pot luck” hunt where antiques can be found hiding on a table in a yard sale. Some show locations will have antiques, collectibles, western items, quilts and no telling what else. Hunting abounds along the shopping trail. Pick up a shopping trail “Official Map” at Pop & Gran’s Antiques 300 E. Criner Street downtown Grandview. This map includes the major shopping stops but not all locations are listed. There is a Yard Sale section for those of you who prefer yard sales. Mennonites and other vendors do not set up on Sunday.
Antique Alley Texas: 30 plus Miles of Treasure Hunting Adventure
We are unable to predict what you will see or find along the 30+ adventure. We hear that some locations have live entertainment, car shows, wine tasting and more. Each location operates independent of the Antique Alley Texas Association. We say gas the car up, bring your friends, “ENJOY” and drive friendly. Some locations may not take credit for Grandpa’s item. Rain or Shine with no make-up date.
