Come see us as we celebrate a decade in this magical little town of Round Top, Texas that we love dearly.
Walking into the 20,000-square-foot building, each piece holds a story. Sean’s contagious passion for travel took him all around the world in an endless search for the unique and interesting. He spent a lot of his life traveling through Spain and discovered the wealth of antique furniture that is available from the 19th Century: interior doors, exterior gates, Spanish wine pots––all seeped with character and warmth.
Sean McLaren started the business more than 40 years ago, owning and operating stores in England and Texas for decades before transitioning to selling at America’s two largest antique markets; Round Top, TX, and Brimfield, MA. Over the past 10 years, Round Top, TX became McLaren’s headquarters and our second home.

Those who have been around since the beginning know the building was originally a laying barn for chickens (yes, we’ve realized that means we work at the #chickenranch. Over the years we’ve added on and added on and we’ve added on again for our 10th anniversary with a 3,000-square-foot pavilion full of more of our treasures. Our building and everything in it holds so many stories.
