Places to Eat Downtown:

‘A Tisket, A Tasket’ is an antiques & collectibles shop and lunch counter with homemade ice cream and an old time soda fountain.

Some may remember going to a lunch counter at a drug store such as Woolworth’s or a Kresge’s Drug Store? If you love homemade ice cream, then this old-fashioned diner is the place for you! The owner makes 21 different flavors of ice cream himself and all flavors can be used to make malts and milkshakes and soda floats. The banana split bowl comes with six different flavors (mini-scoops) – perfect for most people because there are so many awesome flavors to sample. You can also try out different flavored soda floats and watch a movie on the outside back wall of the building.

Main staples of this diner are hamburgers, cheese burgers, cheese, hot beef, chicken salad sandwiches and potato chips.
